Next Generation Defender Production Slated for Austria...Gives me hope.

So apparently the next generation Defender is slated to be made in Austria via Magna Steyr, the same company that builds G Wagons and Pinzgauers. That definitley gives me hope for a “true” defender in the future.

They also designed and made the first gen X3 which had some issues even by BMW standards.

Too heavy, too enclosed, too German. I’m okay with anything solid axley and coil sprung that’s the right shape and aluminum, really.
